Visualization
When you use imagery to change your emotion it is called visualization. Visualization can be used to picture to yourself what it would be like if you accomplished your goal.

  • Use your imagination to determine what you want to change in your life.
  • Use as many senses as possible. Write down how it would look, sound, and feel if things were different.
  • Practice the visualization on a regular basis and in a relaxed fashion.
  • Use this method to visualize a different (better) outcome to events that may have actually happened.
