Wait time is any extra time that you have before your next activity starts. This can include time between classes, commercial time on television, waiting for a computer to start up. Almost any time that you spend waiting can be used productively.

Using Wait Time
If you are not using your wait time during the day take these steps to help you get started.
  1. Think about what kinds of things you can do in a short period of time.
  2. Make a list of 5 things you can do in 10 minutes and also of what you can do in 20 minutes.
  3. Reference this list whenever you are waiting or expect to wait for something and try to complete those tasks or get a portion of them done.
